FOLIO is a fictional specification archive that keeps individual identities intact as a buyer moves between a visual collection and a working shortlist. Screen Module, Cap Module and Corner Module have separate appearance studies, dossiers and source questions. The archive does not assume that objects selected together form a system. Its purpose is to connect each proposed record with the sample, scope and current source that need to be discussed. A layout change reorganizes the display while keeping the same product identifiers. The reading path then separates comparison, source register, sample review, scope changes and quantity context so a buyer can see which question belongs to which record before preparing a document bundle.
From identity to document bundle
Start with the identities that belong in the conversation, then state the reason for comparing them. Appearance, sample correspondence and source applicability are different comparison topics. Keep unanswered attributes open instead of ranking objects by an invented value. Ask the actual provider for the current source of each proposed item and record whether the sample represents that item and issue. If the shortlist or project scope changes, reopen the affected relationships.
