GRIDLINE / UNIT LOAD / PROCUREMENT FIELD NOTE

Return context

Keep identity across a proposed return cycle.

A return-context note records which actual item is proposed to return, who owns the relevant record and what question needs to be resolved. A reusable-looking appearance does not establish an agreed return arrangement, service life or condition. Separate the carrier identity from any commercial or operational proposal about its return.

Ask the responsible party which current sources describe the proposed scope. The assembly may have member identities that need their own references. If a different base, enclosure or member is proposed, retain the previous record and document the correspondence rather than silently reusing an earlier photograph. Keep the return question distinct from a quantity or delivery commitment.

The collection provides a place to organize these unanswered relationships, not inspection, cleaning or repair instructions. Use the change register when a proposal changes and carry current references into the document handoff. Any real return terms and condition review belong to the responsible parties outside this fictional demonstration.
