GRIDLINE / UNIT LOAD / PROCUREMENT FIELD NOTE

Footprint identity

Name the source behind an outline.

A footprint conversation begins by naming the actual proposed carrier and the document that represents its outline. Record which view, issue and date are being discussed. An appearance image can locate a question, but does not supply a dimensional reference. Keep any physical sample identifier beside its document correspondence rather than using one label for both.

For a base, enclosure or frame, ask the provider which boundary the source describes. Overall outline, base relation and another relevant face may require different records. Retain their subject and orientation. The footprint room’s spatial-to-plan transition demonstrates an information change only; its geometry has no scale and cannot establish a standard pallet size.

Before preparing an external request, list the missing correspondence and the person who can supply it. If the proposed issue changes, reopen the outline relationship. A useful note makes the actual source easy to find and its applicable scope clear. It does not convert the abstract diagram into a measurement or approve a carrier for a warehouse.

Keep these fields together

  • Actual carrier ID
  • Drawing identifier
  • View/orientation
  • Issue/date
  • Unresolved outline relation

Use the blank source worksheet to record actual information from the responsible provider. Fields are intentionally empty; the fictional collection does not supply a decision, current document or real project record.
