MORROW / FORMGarment development / demo

DEMO — fictional range. Local brief only, NOT SENT. No personal data is collected or transmitted.

RANGE

Three parts, and what each one decides about the garment.

The range covers tee bodies, set-in sleeves and plackets. Each product page carries the tolerance that decides the fit and the questions worth settling before an order.

Original 3D render of a tee body.

Product

Tee body

Front and back panels with the shoulder seam set in. The body is the pattern, and the pattern is what the fit is measured against.

Product

Set-in sleeve

A tube with a cap seam and a cuff band. The sleeve is the part that makes a garment wearable, and the part that is hardest to correct later.

Product

Placket

A folded strip with button stands and a hem tape. The placket is where the garment closes, and where a closure either works or does not.

How the range is organised.

By what the part decides rather than by how it is cut. The body decides the fit, the sleeve decides the wearability, and the placket decides the closure.

Bodies
Decided by the grading steps, because scaling is not grading
Sleeves
Decided by the cap ease, because it is a fit rather than a finish
Plackets
Decided by the stand spacing, because that is what is seen
All parts
Decided by the shrinkage, because a garment changes after its first wash
