Studio / A fictional design study

Make room for
a better question.

MARGIN is an independent concept studio about reading instruments and careful selection. Its products, identity and imagery were created for this template.

The purpose

Comparison as a reading tool.

The studio puts different device ideas on a common baseline. It asks visitors to choose a task, look at an explicit tradeoff and carry the unanswered questions into a brief. The experience is designed to show how a product catalog can support thoughtful selection without inventing a winner.

Drift, Folio and Atlas are fictional instruments. The screen sizes, controls, file and annotation proposals describe illustrative design intentions. They are not real products, measured specifications, availability statements or offers to sell.

What the studio can establish

A useful structure.
An honest boundary.

The website demonstrates a complete comparison and local brief workflow. It cannot establish the performance or compliance of a physical instrument.

Original design assets

The ensemble and three portraits are original generated images. They depict invented device shapes and editorial screen artwork. No real product photograph, brand logo or copied product specification is used.

Inspectable uncertainty

Each dossier has its own limiting task and unanswered questions. Common evidence gaps remain visible in the comparison and exported brief. No battery, comfort, durability or certification guarantee is made.

Local record

The brief is generated in the browser. A visitor may explicitly save a draft on this browser, clear it, or download a plain text file. All stages remain marked NOT SENT; there is no inquiry backend.
