A part register identifies the actual proposed item, its source and represented scope. A dealer catalogue name, an assembly identifier and a physical specimen label are different records. Ask which current reference describes the proposed part and retain the provider and issue beside it. A familiar shape is a way to locate a question, not a substitute for that identity.
For the housing, disc and tine appearances, record separate open source questions. The demonstration uses DEMO identifiers to distinguish its dossiers; those labels are not real part numbers. An item’s position in a shared collection does not prove a common machine application or replacement family. Keep the actual counterpart reference in its own field.
Before continuing to counterpart reference, list which relationships remain unresolved. Retain previous identifiers as history when a proposal changes rather than silently replacing them. The folio displays a readable paper trail and blank worksheets. Actual supplier identity, current part number and applicability must come from the responsible records.

Use the blank source worksheet to record actual information from the responsible provider. Fields are intentionally empty; the fictional collection does not supply a decision, current document or real project record.
