STRIA / MATERIAL ROOM
Material room
An original interactive information workspace. Change the view while retaining the object identity, record source questions and keep the same content readable without animation.
A specimen, viewed in space

Original spatial information illustration. The alternate view changes the display, not the source or product identity. It is not a scanned three-dimensional model.
- 01
DEMO-ST-01 / Plane surfacePlane Panel
A quiet planar appearance study for discussing surface continuity, finish reference and the relationship between an image and a physical sample.
Which physical specimen and current finish reference identify the proposed plane face?
- 02
DEMO-ST-02 / Linear surfaceGroove Panel
A linear appearance study that brings direction, rhythm and sample orientation into the procurement conversation.
Which sample orientation and current source describe the proposed groove direction?
- 03
DEMO-ST-03 / Sculpted surfaceRelief Panel
A sculptural appearance study for discussing projection, surface transitions and the sample needed to understand them.
Which physical sample and source describe the relief and its relationship to the surrounding face?
Keep the source with its identity
STRIA is a fictional material collection for the early conversation between a designer, a sourcing team and the party responsible for a real product. Its reading path starts with the appearance of a specimen, then connects a sample reference, batch identity and revision to a recorded question. The collection intentionally gives a flat face, a groove pattern and a sculptural relief separate identities. A shared palette is not evidence that those objects use the same substance, thickness or manufacturing process. The material room is a discussion aid: a turn changes the visual perspective while the product identity remains fixed. Sample and document notes stay beside the selected object so a buyer can see what is still missing before preparing a brief.
The motion is optional and short. Use the manual switch or system preference to keep immediate state changes. Product dossiers, reading notes and blank downloads remain available without JavaScript.
