A face photograph may not show the edge that matters to a design conversation. Name the specimen, the edge or transition under discussion and the relevant source view. A buyer may be asking about a corner appearance, a continuation of a groove or the boundary of a raised motif. Those are different questions and should not be combined under a generic request for more detail.
Ask the actual provider which sample or drawing explains the proposed edge and how it relates to the current face reference. A concept image can establish neither dimensions nor a fabrication detail. Keep proposed changes separate from the supplied source so a reviewer can distinguish an original record from an editorial request. The location of the open question is part of its identity.
Read the sample and revision notes before carrying an edge question into a brief. If the relevant face or issue has changed, the older edge record may no longer describe the proposal. Request current correspondence rather than filling the gap with an assumed detail. The demonstration records the question only; it does not provide an installation, cutting, joining or finishing instruction.
