A machine name is a starting label, not a complete proposal. Ask for the actual model or object identifier, current issue and represented scope. Distinguish a whole machine from a replacement item and from an appearance image. A catalogue revision and an individual proposal may have different dates and should remain separately named.
For the scrubber, locate the source that describes the whole proposed machine. For the cart, separate the body record from brush correspondence. For the extractor, ask which reference covers the tank and which covers the hose or wand. These questions clarify document relationships without inferring specifications from the concepts.
Carry the same actual identifier into accessory, specimen and care notes. Keep a previous issue as history if it was part of an earlier conversation. A stable product name does not establish that the underlying scope stayed the same. The next useful step is a provider-confirmed identity and a clearly labelled current source.
