Record the old and proposed issue of the source that changed, then list the component and counterpart relationships that depend on it. A drawing change can affect more than the selected object. Keep the old source available as history while the current applicability is being reviewed. Replacing a file is not the same as reviewing the relationships it described.
In the layer study, fictional issues A and B demonstrate this state transition. A local source note becomes stale when the issue changes. The other information remains readable, and the next action is to ask for current correspondence. The diagram does not decide which real sources are applicable or approve a new configuration.
Before preparing an external request, name the affected references, the difference to review and the responsible parties. Separate a proposed source, a provider response and a reviewed project decision. Exporting a local record does not perform any of those actions. The blank review worksheet is available for recording the actual source and its scope outside the demonstration.

Use the blank source worksheet to record actual information from the responsible provider. Fields are intentionally empty; the fictional collection does not supply a decision, current document or real project record.
