LOAMWORKSGarden objects / demo

DEMO — fictional range. Local brief only, NOT SENT. No personal data is collected or transmitted.

DOCUMENTS

What travels with an order.

A garden object arrives with paperwork or it arrives as an anonymous object. These are the documents worth asking for, and what each one actually establishes.

Material declaration
What the body is, and whether it was fired or cast
Frost test record
How many freeze-thaw cycles, and what the water uptake was
Colour standard
The approved reference, and the tolerance around it
Coating specification
Thickness and adhesion on coated parts
Inspection record
That a defined sample was measured against a written method
Dimension record
Across the batch, because a row has to line up
Revision statement
Which revision the order was made to
Packing record
How it was packed, because these objects are heavy and breakable

An illustrative list for a fictional range. A real programme agrees which documents are required, in what form, and how long they are retained.

The one that is most often missing.

The frost test record. A material described as frost-proof without a cycle count and a water uptake figure is a claim rather than a result, and it is the claim that fails in the third winter.

Why the packing record matters here.

Because these objects are heavy and brittle, and the way they were packed is the reason they arrived intact or did not. It is also the document that settles a damage claim.
