An interface question begins with the actual objects on both sides and the subject that needs an answer. A photograph can locate a discussion without supplying a current interface record. Ask the responsible providers which sources represent their proposals and which reference explains the relationship. Keep the scope of each source visible.
If one source represents only a member or an option, do not treat it as the complete answer for the assembly. The current issue of a machine and its proposed counterpart may change independently. Retain previous correspondence and name what must be checked again. A local shortlist can hold those questions together without implying a verified pairing.
The reference lens uses source cards to emphasize missing relationships. It supplies no connection method, dimensional fit or power calculation. Before scope comparison, gather the actual reference identifiers and ask the responsible reviewers what information is still required. An unanswered interface field remains a question rather than a guessed specification.

Use the blank source worksheet to record actual information from the responsible provider. Fields are intentionally empty; the fictional collection does not supply a decision, current document or real project record.
