Grooved pulley
A single-groove pulley with a keyed bore and a pressed hub. The groove profile and the bore are turned in one setup.
How it is made.
The groove and the bore are turned in the same operation so they share an axis. The keyway is broached afterwards, and it is the feature that decides whether the pulley runs true or wobbles.
