PART / FICTIONAL EXAMPLE
Slotted angle bracket
An L bracket with slotted holes on both flanges. The slots exist so the part can be adjusted on site, which is also why position tolerance matters less than flatness.

How it is made.
Formed and machined from plate, then the slots are milled rather than punched so the edges stay clean. Both flanges are faced after forming, because forming moves the faces that seat against the structure.

Every value above is an illustrative example for a fictional range. It is not a quotation, a capability statement or a measurement of any real part.
What a long run changes.
The first piece and the four-hundredth are the same drawing. What differs is tool wear, and the dimension that moves first is usually the one nobody measures on every piece.
What it cannot confirm.
Whether the part survives its real use. That is established by testing under the real load, not by a first article on a bench.
