Colour is
a direction.

Slate, pebble and moss are digital labels for a sample conversation. They do not establish a material recipe, a tolerance or an available production finish.

C01 / SLATE

A quiet anchor.

Ask how the frame and soft component colours will be compared. A shared colour name does not promise a match across materials.

C02 / PEBBLE

A lighter contrast.

Ask for a physical reference and an agreed viewing condition. Screen brightness and surrounding colour can change perceived appearance.

C03 / MOSS

A muted accent.

Keep surface texture and colour approval separate. A smooth render does not describe the actual gloss, texture or ageing behaviour.

The component board records a colour direction without recolouring the concept image. The image remains an illustrative silhouette, not a preview of a selected finish.

Ask for a
physical
reference.

Agree the comparison

Identify the master sample, lighting, viewing area and approval owner. Ask how frame and replacement-part batches will be tracked together.

Record what changed

Attach colour decisions to the specific material and component revision. Ask whether a finish change affects markings, attachment or service instructions.
