Development notes

Consider the entire
print experience.

01

Surface before adhesive

A storage box, glass jar and textured drawer do not ask the same thing of an adhesive. Describe intended surfaces before requesting a tape sample.

02

Readable at the point of use

Review character size, contrast, margins and cut behavior on an actual printed label. Screen artwork alone cannot establish legibility.

03

Refills belong in the collection

A product story should include the refill code, pack distinction and ordering route. Avoid making a future consumable feel like an afterthought.

Open questions
Can it use any label roll?

No compatibility is asserted. The proposed cassette or roll format, feed path, adhesive system and print process must be agreed with the actual engineering supplier.

Does a USB connection mean desktop printing?

No. A charging connector and a print-data interface are separate responsibilities. Desktop authoring is a development question for this concept, not a supported feature claim.

From concept to a clear sample question.
