How it is made.

Turned on a lathe from bar stock, then bored and slit. The clamp screw is drilled and tapped after slitting, which is the order that keeps the bore round.

Every value above is an illustrative example for a fictional range. It is not a quotation, a capability statement or a measurement of any real part.

What a first article confirms.

That the delivered part matches the drawing, dimension by dimension, on the features that carry load or locate something else. It does not confirm that the drawing describes the right part.

What it cannot confirm.

Whether the part survives its real use. That is established by testing under the real load and environment, and by measuring again after the part has been in service rather than only on delivery.
