A swatch, lab dip and garment-length sample support different decisions. Use this local checklist to organize the reference and evidence scope.

Garment & construction

Describe the garment, panel use, seam approach and stretch-direction questions.

Set target gsm and usable width, then agree how actual samples will be measured.

Choose a physical reference and lab-dip path. A screen swatch is not a dye standard.

Separate the desired finish from performance. Ask for agreed test methods and product-specific results.
