FORM / COVER / CONNECTION
An original fictional company story and sample approach. Not a real manufacturer, customer case or certified service.
Loom & Low Upholstery Atelier — original fictional company
LOOM & LOW is an original fictional upholstery atelier imagined around the difference between a fabric sample and a finished seat. Its story begins with an interior editor comparing three quiet forms: a low modular sofa, a compact sofa and a separate ottoman. Their colours belonged together, but their frames, cushion edges and connection questions did not.
The collection treats upholstery as a joined record of frame, support, filling, cover, seams and feet. A module asks where another unit connects and which side carries an arm. A compact sofa asks about its complete envelope and cushion relationship. An ottoman asks about the top, perimeter and underside. These are construction and sample questions rather than comfort promises.
In this fictional team, the form editor retains the actual configuration and room reference. The cover coordinator keeps textile identity, colour reference, seam direction and any lining attached to one revision. The sample desk distinguishes a cover swatch, a stitched junction and a complete upholstered reference. No factory, textile partner, test laboratory or actual client project is represented by those roles.
An original photograph can describe an appearance; it cannot establish foam density, fabric composition, abrasion, fire behaviour, emissions or load. A colour selector is a notebook marker rather than a rendered production option. Any real use needs actual supplier construction records, physical samples and applicable market evidence. The composition studio helps a buyer retain questions and prepares only a local unsent brief.
