If the collection uses a finishing or garment process, agree the review method with the supplier and maker. Store the resulting instructions with the material identity and the physical development reference.
Use an identified physical sample and the intended assembly to review the questions. AI imagery and demonstration values cannot serve as verified product evidence.
A family label is only the starting point. Follow the product dossier for context and document needs.
Which physical sample and finish define the appearance reference? Record the physical reference and the intended finished appearance. Natural-looking texture in a generated image does not confirm plant fibre content, origin or sustainability.
Which seam and edge sample is needed before the collection direction is closed? Compare a joined sample with the intended sewing and edge treatment. Keep the colour reference visible when a finish or construction is revised.
What physical reference and agreed appearance notes describe this irregular surface? Ask how the supplier documents the intended appearance and any acceptable variation. Compare physical pieces at the size used for the finished garment or panel.
KEEP THE REFERENCE USEFUL
Identify the material code, physical sample, finish, drawing and review date. Keep colour and appearance comments tied to that reference so a revised piece does not silently replace an earlier decision.
Ask the real supplier to confirm composition, agreed specification, relevant evidence and commercial terms. A saved demonstration record is a conversation aid, not a purchase approval.
