Product developers, material engineers and technical sourcing teams

Treat construction as a documented input.

A product name can organise a development library, but it does not define yarn, gauge, composition or finish. Request the material declaration and the construction details needed for the proposed assembly. The diagrams on this site are conceptual illustrations.

Turn the reference into a question.

Keep a face and direction reference with each specimen. When a sample is cut, joined or combined with another layer, identify those conditions alongside the material record so later observations remain attributable.

Use an identified physical sample and the intended assembly to review the questions. AI imagery and demonstration values cannot serve as verified product evidence.

Ask the material-specific question.

A family label is only the starting point. Follow the product dossier for context and document needs.

01 / LP / 101

Surface Tricot

Which face and direction will be used in the finished assembly? Record the selected face and direction of the sample. Review the intended seam, laminate or adjoining component before attributing behaviour to the fabric alone.

02 / LP / 102

Open Mesh

What backing, binding or adjacent layer belongs with this open structure? Look at the edge binding and support layer together. An isolated sample does not show how an opening behaves after cutting, joining or use in the proposed assembly.

03 / LP / 103

Contour Rib

Where should the rib direction meet an adjacent seam or component? Agree the rib direction on the drawing and physical sample. Compare the cut edge and seam in the same orientation used for the finished part.

KEEP THE REFERENCE USEFUL

What travels with the sample?

Identify the material code, physical sample, finish, drawing and review date. Keep colour and appearance comments tied to that reference so a revised piece does not silently replace an earlier decision.

Ask the real supplier to confirm composition, agreed specification, relevant evidence and commercial terms. A saved demonstration record is a conversation aid, not a purchase approval.

Prepare a local sample brief with the concept and review context. It stays NOT SENT; no supplier approval or reservation is created.
