Keeps actual panel, backing, joint and outer-envelope revisions identifiable.
BODY / FRONT / FITTING
An original fictional company story and sample approach. Not a real manufacturer, customer case or certified service.
Bay Index Casegoods Studio — original fictional company
BAY / INDEX is an original fictional casegoods studio imagined around a cabinet body and a drawer of material references. Its story starts with a furniture editor seeing the same wood-looking finish on three different forms: a low sideboard, a tall closed cabinet and an open shelf. The fronts looked related, but each body carried different panel, fitting and installation questions.
The collection keeps the outer envelope separate from the space inside each bay. A sideboard asks about doors, hinges and the plinth. A tall cabinet adds actual installation and stability-review questions. An open shelf asks how panels, backing and joints form the body. The studio never converts a bay count or a surface image into a storage capacity or load rating.
In this fictional team, the body editor retains the actual panel and joinery revision. The front coordinator records substrate, finish, edge and fitting identities. The sample desk keeps a material chip, a body-to-front junction and a complete cabinet reference as separate reviews. These roles organize product development; they represent no verified factory, fitting partnership or completed interior project.
A real cabinet needs actual supplier drawings, materials, hardware references, assembly instructions and applicable product-specific evidence. A timber-looking surface does not establish species, veneer, panel core, emissions or sourcing. A digital bay map generates no shop drawing, anchor design or anti-tip approval. The register helps a buyer identify what to sample and what to request before any purchasing or installation decision.
THREE ROLES / ONE RETAINED REFERENCE
Keeps actual panel, backing, joint and outer-envelope revisions identifiable.
Retains substrate, finish, edge and actual hardware references together.
Separates material chip, body/front junction and complete cabinet review.
QUESTIONS BEFORE CLAIMS
Actual outer size, usable bays, panel thickness and backing need supplier drawings.
Keep substrate, colour, finish, edge and door or drawer construction distinct.
Require actual hinge, runner, pull and joint references; no compatibility is inferred.
Load, stability, anti-tip and anchoring conclusions require actual product and site review.
FICTIONAL DEMO CONTACT DESK
Display-only fictional contacts. No communication is sent.
Record configuration, finish, physical sample purpose and the actual evidence still needed. This demonstration collects no personal data and sends no inquiry.
Retain the actual item/storage question, outer envelope and installation setting.
Request panels, backing, joints, fronts and hardware on one supplier revision.
Review the finish, edge and body-to-front connection using actual samples.
Keep assembly, installation responsibilities and applicable assessment records with the actual cabinet.
