BUYER FIELD NOTES

A stronger tech pack makes a stronger sample.

Practical questions for a development conversation. Use the notes to prepare a clearer sample, validation or assortment brief.

01

Describe the fabric completely

Specify composition, knit or weave, target weight, finish and intended decoration. Decide whether the supplier proposes material or works to a nominated source.

A weight target alone does not define hand feel.

02

Set the sample sequence

Separate prototype, fit, size set and pre-production approval. Assign comment owners and revision numbers to prevent conflicting feedback.

A visually approved sample can still have unresolved measurements.

03

Plan bulk color and packaging

Agree lab-dip lighting, shade continuity and size-color assortment. Record labels, folding, bagging and carton assortment in the same tech pack.

Do not treat a digital color swatch as a physical standard.

How should I use the example MOQ and lead time?

Use them to explore planning questions. Actual quantities, sample charges and schedules depend on the agreed specification, tooling and capacity; request a current program quotation.

What needs to be approved before bulk production?

The material, lab dip, measurements, grading, care labels, trims and pre-production sample.

Can I explore the inquiry flow?

Yes. The demo creates a local NOT SENT summary from preset example options. It does not collect contact details or send the brief.
